What we do Therapy for children and young people Bereavement and loss Aged 4 to 15 years Butterflies is a well-established activity-based therapy service for young people aged 4 to 15 years experiencing bereavement (which can include murder, manslaughter and suicide) and loss (which can include divorce/ separation, domestic abuse, children looked after/ on the edge of care and parent in prison). Butterflies draws on Listening Ear’s knowledge of different forms of counselling and translates this to be an age-appropriate service. Aged 16 to 19 years Listening Ear provides a BACP accredited counselling service for young people aged 16 to 19 years experiencing bereavement, loss, anxiety and depression, as well as a range of other mild to moderate mental health issues.
