Children attending Listening Ear’s Butterflies service are in for an Easter treat, after Kim Apter (pictured centre, above) delivered a mega-supply of Easter eggs to our offices in Halewood.

Kim and her family and friends set up the James Apter Friendship Fund after the death of her son, James, at the age of 9.  Since the charity was formed in 2013, they’ve raised thousands of pounds to buy toys for Alder Hey and other hospitals across Merseyside, and every year they work with local businesses and shops to collect Easter eggs.

We were delighted that they thought of Butterflies and we know that children who attend the service will appreciate the gifts very much!
